Calgary Zoo Panda Passage
The Calgary Zoo’s Panda Passage opens Monday, May 7! Here for five years on loan from China is a family of four Pandas! Er Shun, Da Mao and their two cubs Jia Panpan and Jia Yueyue. It’s been 30 years since the Calgary Zoo has accommodated Giant Panda’s with a short visit of just seven months.
Make sure to purchase advance tickets to ensure your chance to get a glimpse of them!
Spruce Meadows May Classic I & II
The May Classic Tournament at Spruce Meadows welcomes families two weekends in May. May 5 – 6 and May 11 – 13 with admission and parking being complimentary during the May Classic. Enjoy world-class show jumping, visit the newborn foals and additional entertainment that will be taking place over the two weekends.
Stars on Ice
On May 12 at the Scotiabank Saddledome Olympic medalists Tessa Virtue, Scott Moir, Meagan Duhamel, Eric Radford, Patrick Chan, Kaetlyn Osmond and more are set to take the ice! They’ve made our country proud at the Pyeong Chang 2018 Winter Olympic Games and are now coming to Calgary as part of the 2018 Stars on Ice Tour. Tickets vary in price and start as low as $12 for an evening that will surely take your breath away.
