Production Designer - Corporate On-Site
Location: Calgary, AB
Orange door direct is a dynamic and creative studio that specializes in print, direct marketing and brand design. We are currently in need of a production designer.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill projects from production to completion (production and print ready files)
- Complete their work on time and to the client's satisfaction
- Play a major role in monitoring and ensuring that the client's brand guidelines are used correctly
- Work closely with the designer to execute the design
- Responsible to the creative director and client
- Production and management of print materials
- Prepare files for digital and offset print production
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in accredited program or comparable work experience
- At least two year's related experience
- Highly proficient in Adobe CS5 (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and PowerPoint
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a timely manner
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills to work directly with clients
- Organized with attention to detail

Graphic Designer - Corporate On-Site

Responsibilities
- Fulfill projects from concept to completion (creative design, production and print ready files)
- Play a major role in the development of a project by establishing the conceptual and stylistic direction of the project
- Orchestrate the work of production artists, photographers, illustrators, printers and anyone else who is involved in the development of a project
- Responsible to the creative director
- Production and management of print materials (internal and external)
- Prepare files for digital and offset print production
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in design or comparable work experience
- At least four years related experience
- Highly proficient in Adobe CS5 - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator - Mac
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines with quick turnarounds
- Self-motivated individual who can work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to work directly with clients

- Copywriting and proofreading skills an asset
